Objective: Transitioning a startup brand to a national brand.

Challenge: Shifting geographical focus, transition focus from location based to lifestyle/brand focus.

Recommendation for next steps: Build out the Nauti Spirits brand to create consistency and an overall brand strategy, then move focus to an overall strategy session including talking to stakeholders and auditing past marketing efforts.

We understand that you came to us mainly wanting to discuss social media efforts. While this is within our wheelhouse, we feel that it would be a disservice to focus solely on social media without a deep dive into overall strategy and further developing the brand. That being said, we do have some great ideas about what you could be doing in terms of broadening your social media efforts to make them less location-based. These ideas include utilizing influencer outreach and promoting in the DC metro area in partnership with local farmers in order to stay true to Nauti Spirit’s roots.

Timberland approached Stout Heart in need of creative for their Fall 2018 women’s line. Media was purchased in downtown NYC and LA. The Timberland woman is stylish, but not trendy and appreciates timeless style and versatility in her pieces. community is important to her, and she wants Timberland’s crafted style to empower her to go out in the world and make a difference. “The World Is Calling You” was born from this concept to create brand awareness, change brand perception, and drive salience with our target audience. Creative is live now in NYC & LA.

TNT Bitters Co.

Brand Refresh & Packaging

TNT Bitters approached Stout Heart during a pivotal time of growth for them. They are looking to sell their bitters to not only restaurants and bars, but also to liquor distributors and the public. In order to do so, they needed a brand refresh, labels, packaging and collateral update. TNT’s goal was to distance itself from other more pretentious bitters companies. Their mission is to make their explosive flavors available to everyone.


Prime Buchholz

Website Redesign 

Prime Buchholz is an investment consulting firm based in Portsmouth with offices in Boston and Atlanta. The majority of their investment work is done for community foundations, hospitals, university endowments, and nonprofits. Prime Buchholz’s online presence did not accurately represent their personality. With Stout Heart’s help, they were able to elevate their online presence. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase their unique approach and ability to do good through their financial expertise. Stout Heart also collaborated on a pitch book and internal and external document templates for Prime Buchholz.

Brand Refresh, Website Redesign, & Collateral

Aland Realty, based out of Ogunquit, Maine, asked Stout Heart  for support when expanding into its Portsmouth and Kittery locations. While their brand had equity in Maine, they knew it needed to be updated in order to appeal to a younger, more affluent market. With SH help, Aland was able to refresh their brand without losing the recognition they had worked so hard for. Since their brand update and website redesign, Aland has expanded significantly and begun developing commercial real estate projects.


Carpenter & MacNeille

Social Strategy & Execution 

Stout Heart had the pleasure of partnering with Carpenter MacNeille. Stout Heart was asked to provide a social audit, strategy, and guideline document. After this document was created, Stout Heart was asked to manage CM’s social media (Instagram & Facebook). Stout Heart was responsible for everything included image selection, copywriting, execution of strategy, and community management and reporting.
